Jailed drug suspect served arrest warrant for rape
A ‘MOST wanted’ man facing rape charges was served an arrest warrant while in detention at the Manila Police District- Jose Abad Santos Police Station 7 in Tondo, Manila yesterday.
The suspect was identified as Christian Blue Aguinaldo, 21, of 991- D New Antipolo St., Tondo.
P/ Lt. Veronica Apresurado, chief of the Intelligence Section, reported to P/ Lt.Col. Evangeline Cayaban, Station Commander of the MPD- Ermita Police Station 5, that an informant tipped the police that the suspect is currently detained at the MPD-Station 7 for alleged drug pushing, for which no bail was recommended.
The operatives went to the MPD-Station 7 to see if Aguinaldo was really there and then served the warrant of arrest issued by Judge Roberto Quiroz of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 29 where he faces a rape case allegedly committed on November 19, 2020. No bail was recommended for his provisional liberty.
Aguinaldo is said to be the number 3 most wanted in the PNP watchlist.
