IyaIYA Villania and Chef Jose Sarasola are back in the hit cooking show “Eat Well. Live Well. Stay Well” now on its third season on GMA-7 starting this Friday at 11:20 AM.

“I can say 2022 starts well for us with our show’s new season,” says Iya, who revealed in the show’s zoom presscon that she is now pregnant with her and Drew Arellano’s 4th child. “Yes. akala ko tapos na when we had a girl but, heto nabuntis uli. I don’t know when the factory will be closed. Pero pahirap siya ng pahirap. I’m now on my 4th month of pregnancy and this is my hardest among the four pregnancies I’ve had.”

After two seasons, Iya says she’s now more confident as a young mom and homemaker who hosts “Eat Well. Live Well. Stay Well”.

“Jose and I are glad that people watch us and our sponsor, Ajinomoto Products, is happy with the show. Sana nga, may 4th season pa, kasi I really love and enjoy cooking. With cooking, you never run out of ideas. We show how moms can make their meals special. I’m so happy when I meet moms that they learn how to cook a lot of recipes through our show.”

So how will Season 3 be different from the past two nseason?

“Since we cannot go out again due to the surge in Covid cases, we will offer healthier food choices and make different presentations of the dishes we do. Ajinomoto is your best partner in the kitchen in cooking the best dishes for your family. We’ll help the mommies to get good ideas kung nauubusan na sila ng recipes para sa families nila. We give a twist even to familiar recipes like tortang talong and sinanglay na tilapia.”

Jose is so happy they’re now on their 3rd season.

“When I moved to GMA in 2020, I was hoping they’ll give me a cooking show and ecstatic ako when they did so, kasi dream ko talagang magkaroon ng cooking show and now heto, 3rd season na kami. I’m just thankful to the Ajinomoto family for their trust in me and Iya. It means we are doing a good job. We tell the viewers how to eat healthy para panlaban sa virus at maging mas malakas ang katawan natin lalo ngayong tumaas na uli ang cases.”

He wants to introduce more new recipes in their 3rd season.

“We aim to acquaint Filipinos with more exotic food like venison or wild boar. The good thing about the recipes we’re serving is that they’re really budget-friendly and easy to prepare, but yummy and nutritious. It’s been a fun experience so far with two seasons and as a chef, it’s a continuous learning process for me. I enjoy experimenting in doing new combinations of different ingredients when I cook. Ajinomoto is a big help as it lessens your sodium intake and also helps your digestion. People don’t know it but the right food can heal you if you know how to eat nutritious food for your body to be able to really live and stay well.”
