Isko: Vax program continues
“HUWAG maniwala kay Maritess. Maniwala tayo sa siyensiya at mga ahensiya ng gobyerno at international organizations like the World Health Organization o WHO na nagsasabing mabisang proteksyon ang bakuna laban sa COVID-19.”
Manila Mor Isko Moreno said this as he bared the city government’s mass vaccination program continued yesterday (Sunday), adding the inoculation will continue as long as vaccines are available.
The mayor akso ordered an extension of the administration of booster shots for two-wheel riders at the Bonifacio Shrine following its success when it was launched Saturday.
A total of 1,000 doses had been allotted on each booster day for bicycle and motorcycle riders that was held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Moreno asked for patience and understanding on the part of those seeking to get vaccinated as some of those who used to man the vaccination program have been pulled out to serve in the city-owned hospitals.
He explained that many hospital staff have also been infected so that certain adjustments had to be made in order to serve everyone.
