MANILA Mayor Isko Moreno and Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna are inviting the public to visit the yearly ‘Paskuhan sa Maynila’ at the Mehan Garden near the Manila City Hall, a monthlong Christmas activity which the city’s top two officials opened right after the “Manila EntrePinoy StrEAT Food Festival” ended last November 30.

Moreno said the ‘Paskuhan’ event which began December 1 will treat the visitors to the daily lights and sounds shows and a bazaar that will feature a good number of exhibitors selling various kinds of gift items and food.

The mayor commended and congratulated permits bureau chief Levi Facundo, public employment service office (PESO) Fernan Bermejo and tourism department chief Charlie Dungo for putting up the said projects, as he announced that the food festival yielded over P2.7 million in earnings for the small entrepreneurs who participated and their staff even as it created at least 200 jobs and for the duration of the activity from November 12 to 30, 2021.

The Paskuhan is open daily from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. up to January 1, 2022 and entry will be allowed only until 10:15 p.m. It will be closed though, on December 24 and December 31.
