Isko to MHD personnel: Ignore the ‘feeling privileged’
MANILA Mayor Isko Moreno commended the vaccinating teams under Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna and Manila Health Department (MHD) head Dr. Arnold Pangan for their sacrifices and advised them ignore those who are ‘feeling privileged’ that do not want to follow the regulations in order to get the vaccine.
Just continue… ‘wag nyo unawain ‘yung iilang pa–espesyal at gusto maging espesyal,” Moreno said.
Moreno cited a social media post where a netizen complained of not getting vaccinated. He said the netizen who claimed to have comorbidity, received a text for vaccination schedule but did not bring any proof, which is required under the regulations set by the Department of Health (DOH).
“Sagutin n’yo ng tama dahil system-generated yan. Be responsible.
He said he saw a video of billionaire Jaime Zobel de Ayala two weeks ago who was queuing the line waiting to get inoculated.
Moreno said Mr. Ayala could opt to ride his private plane to US for his vaccine but instead exercised humility, compassion and understanding. Jerry S. Tan
