Isko, Ong test negative for drugs
MANILA Mayor and Aksyon Demokratiko standard bearer Isko Moreno and his runningmate Doc Willie Ong tested negative for illegal drugs after voluntarily submitting to drug testing yesterday.
Upon examination of their urine specimen, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Laboratory Service certified that Moreno and Ong tested negative for cocaine, methamphetamine, and other illegal substances.
Moreno also announced that the entire Aksyon Demokratiko slate will undergo voluntary drug tests during his listening tour yesterday in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
He also reiterated that he will continue the current administration’s campaign against illegal drugs and focus on going after drug lords and syndicates.
“Katulad ng nasimulan ni Pangulong Duterte, tayo ay nakikiisa rin doon sa kampanya ni Pangulong Duterte na labanan ang droga. At kung sakali, may awa ang Diyos, sa tulong ninyo, itutuloy natin yung War on Drugs,” he said.
He added: “We’ll go after those syndicates, drug lords, lalong lalo na, mas nagpapanting ang tenga ko, nangangati ang mata ko pag banyaga ang may dala ng droga.Mahohoyo sila maniwala ka.”
