Isko endorsement fees go to charity
MANILA Mayor Isko Moreno’s product enforsement fees since 2019 amounting to P100 million have gone to charity.
“Hindi ko nakita kahit singkong duling ang talent fees ko,” Moreno said following the groundbreaking of the soon-to-rise President Corazon C. Aquino General Hospital in Baseco, Port Area, Manila.
Moreno added his endorsement fees are being used to help the sick and calamity victims in Taal, Cotabato and Cagayan, even a school for nuns.
The mayor had earlier donated his fee for endorsing a clothing apparel company to a cancer ward for children at a national government hospital.
Moreno thanked those who have been putting up billboards and other promotional materials for him using personal funds.
“Nagugulat ako kasi ang daming billboard up to Maguindanao, Northern Luzon and Visayas. Lima singko. Pero wala pa talaga kaming official na materials. Kung anuman nakikita ninyo, gastos ng tao and I am grateful, whoever they are,” said Moreno, presidential bet of Aksyon Demokratiko party.
