THE Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, the powerhouse Senate slate backed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., has welcomed the latest pre-election surveys showing the strong performance of its candidates and said this should fuel them to work harder.

Navotas City Representative Toby Tiangco, Alyansa’s campaign manager, said the survey results are a reflection of strong public confidence in the administration coalition slate and its vision for stability, progress and continuity.

However, Tiangco emphasized that the campaign is far from over and that Alyansa remains focused on directly engaging with voters to further strengthen its support.

“These numbers are encouraging, but we are not letting our guard down,” Tiangco said in a statement.

Tiangco pointed out that “the real survey happens on election day. We will continue working hard, meeting voters face-to-face, and ensuring that every Filipino understands the importance of electing a Senate that will work with the administration in delivering real results.”

The Alyansa ticket includes former Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senator Ramon Bong Revilla, Senator Pia Cayetano, former Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, Senator Lito Lapid, Senator Imee Marcos, former Senator Manny Pacquiao, former Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Senator Francis “Tol” Tolentino, ACT-CIS Representative and former Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo, and Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.

The latest surveys show that eight to nine Alyansa candidates consistently rank in the winning circle, while three to four more are within striking distance of securing a Senate seat.

Tiangco said this momentum is a testament to the strong backing of Filipinos who want leaders focused on governance, not political drama.

He added that Alyansa will intensify its campaign in key provinces, reaching more communities and ensuring that Filipinos in both urban centers and far-flung areas have direct access to the candidates and their platforms.

“Alyansa is committed to a Senate that supports economic development, job creation, and social services. We will keep going where the people are, listening to their concerns, and showing them that our candidates are prepared to work for them,” Tiangco said.

With the May 2025 midterm elections fast approaching, Tiangco reiterated Alyansa’s goal of securing a strong Senate majority that aligns with President Marcos’ “Bagong Pilipinas” agenda, ensuring the continuation of programs that will benefit Filipinos across all sectors.
