Indang mayor tests positive for COVID-19
INDANG, Cavite — Mayor Pecto Fidel announced on official page of Municipality of Indang that he was tested positive for Covid-19, Monday, January 17, 2022.
Mayor Fidel also announced that his office at the new municipal hall is temporarily closed to disinfection until further notice.
Fidel is the 5th local chief executive infected by coronavirus after Silang Mayor Corrie Poblete, GMA, Mayor Maricel Torres, Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat and Kawit Mayor Angelo Aguinaldo.
Poblete and Torres already surpassed the quarantine requirements of Inter-Agency Task Force and are now back on work, while Salamat and Aguinaldo are still in an isolation period to lessen the infections and to recuperate as well.
