INC rally for all who want peace
SENATOR Christopher “Bong” Go support the call for peace and unity in our country.
“Let us unite so that we can work properly for the country and serve our fellow Filipinos, especially the poor because many of our countrymen need help,” Go said in a statement.
He thanked the INC members led by its Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo for the significant opportunity to show the importance of peace and unity in the country.
“A tribute to our brothers and sisters from the Iglesia Ni Cristo led by Brother Eduardo V. Manalo for this very important opportunity to express our appreciation for the peace and unity of the entire people,” Go added after over 1.2 million participants have joined the INC’s National Peace Rally at the Quirino Grandstand, according to the estimate of the Manila City’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
“Our desire is not only unity despite any political issue but also a peaceful life.”
He said that no matter how big the challenges we face, he believe that together we can meet all of these if we always prioritize the interests of the nation and the welfare of our neighbors, especially those who are most in need.
Go encourage the entire nation to support the purpose of the peace rally—to seek guidance from the Almighty God to solve the problems of our nation.
“May God bless us with understanding among ourselves because the people, especially the poor, are the most miserable when we are not united.”
The peace rally of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, Go said, is not only for its members but for all Filipinos who desire peace.
“I am with you in this desire as your senator who only wants to continue caring and serving our fellow Filipinos.”
“Let us remember—that we only pass through this world once. Whatever good or help we can do for our neighbors, let us do it now because we will not return to this world. May God bless us all! Long live the Philippines!” Go said in a statement.
