Inauguration of new Imus Government Hub set on April 18

IMUS CITY, Cavite – The local government here will inaugurate the new Imus City Government Center located at Pedro Reyes St., Barangay Malagasang 1-G on April 18, 2022.

The P1.4B state-of-the-art new government center was conceptualized and designed by the City Architect Office based on green architecture principles and houses the city’s executive and legislative buildings and other national government offices.

Outgoing City Mayor and Buklod Filipino Party-list 1st nominee Emmanuel Maliksi, incumbent Vice Mayor and Imus City Board Member candidate Arnel “Ony” Cantimbuhan, and 12 city dads will lead the inauguration rites.

Based on the building plan, the new center is energy-efficient, environment-friendly, and accessible to the public.

The six-story executive and legislative building house offices of the city mayor, city vice mayor, city council session hall, tourism, information, youth affairs and engineering, the “Business One-Stop-Shop”, and other frontline services.

It also has a fully equipped wellness space to ensure the well-being and increase the productivity of the government workers.

Offices that are already moving in on the new government hub and fully operational are Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) – Upper Ground Floor, City Assessor’s Office – Upper Ground Floor, Civil Registrar’s Office – Upper Ground Floor, City Information Office – 2nd Floor, City Tourism Development Office (CTDO) – 2nd Floor, and City Administrator’s Office – 3rd Floor.

While the offices of City Treasurer’s Office – Upper Ground Floor, City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) – 2nd Floor, City Building Official – 2nd Floor, Public Employment Services Office (PESO) Imus City – 2nd Floor, CICLEDO – 2nd Floor, City Parks and Historical Sites Administration Unit – 2nd Floor, Imus LEIPO – Upper Ground Floor, City Legal Office – 3rd Floor, Civil Security Unit – 3rd Floor, and Mayor’s Office at the 3rd floor are both operating on the old municipal hall and new city hall.

Tor those going to the new city for government transactions, residents can take the green cab which has a station in Bucandala and the new city hall.
