IMUS CITY, Cavite – The local government here has intensified the vaccination campaign to ensure the health and safety of the Imuseños.
In addition to fixed vaccination sites, house-to-house teams, and mobile vaccination clinics, the local government added inoculation to each company in collaboration with Local Economic Investment and Promotion Office (LEIPO).
“We are accomplishing this under the leadership of our comrades in LEIPO. For businesses that also want to participate in this, just contact the Imus LEIPO Facebook page. For our economy to recover from the pandemic,” Imus Mayor and Buklod Filipino Party-list 1st Nominee Emmanuel Maliksi said.
“Inilapit na talaga natin ang mga vaccination sa bawat Imuseño, for example, the A4 or the economic frontliners, nag-conduct tayo ng bakunahan sa palengke, sa mga sitios at mga barangays, hindi na nila kailangan pumunta ng mga fixed vax site natin,” Maliksi added.
For now, Imus Sports Complex vaccination site in Barangay Poblacion, Drive-Thru vaccination site in Robinsons Place Imus along Aguinaldo highway, Ospital ng Imus vax site, Maharlika vax site in Barangay Espeleta and Buhay na Tubig vax site under the administration of Congressman Alex “AA” Advincula continues to be open for all the priority groups from A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, rest of the adult and the pediatric population.
According to Maliksi, it becomes more effective for them to encourage their kababayans to get vaccinated if we can bring the vaccines closer to them.
The LGU has a mobile vaccination team that continues to rotate daily in various places in the city.
Based on the latest vaccine coverage in the locality, Imus City has 87 percent fully vaccinated of their target population.
