IMUS CITY, Cavite – The city government here under Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula opened free COVID-19 RT-PCR (real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction) testing for residents.

The free RT-PCR tests are for residents experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, who are in close contact, have a medical operation, pregnant, dialysis patients or health workers or students, teachers, workers, and tourists in the locality.

According to the Imus City Health Office, the swabbing area is open from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., located at Pedro Reyes Street, Malagasang I-G (near Ospital ng Imus and City Government Center).

The free swab test for students, teachers, workers, and tourists is at the City of Imus Molecular Laboratory from August 23 to September 30, 2022.

The offering is limited to 500 individuals per day through the “AAngat sa Balik Bayanihan” program.

For the medical purpose of RT-PCR, bring the following documents for eligibility for free testing: Philhealth ID or any ID that shows you are Imuseño; COVID-19 Vaccination Card; doctor’s request or medical abstract for patients who are pregnant, have a medical operation, or are undergoing dialysis.
