Ilocos PRRMC Chief receives Gawad Kalasag
Mike Chan, head of Ilocos Sur Provincial Risk Reduction and Management Council (PRRMC), is all smiles as he was conferred Wednesday the prestigious “Gawad Kalasag”, a seal and special awards for excellence in disaster management and humanitarian assistance at Manila Hotel from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC). A businessman in Vigan city, Chan and his team were very active in responding and rescuing in times of calamities, risking their lives and limbs.
