Ice witness sa panghihina ni Gary V
Ganu’n na lang ang paghanga ni Ice Seguerra kay Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano sa professionalism na ipinamalas nito sa concert nito sa Araneta Coliseum na “Gary V Pure Energy: One More Time” nu’ng isang gabi.
Isa si Ice sa guests sa nasabing concert at nakita niya mismo na talagang hindi maganda ang pakiramdam ni Gary before the show started.
Sa post ni Ice sa kanyang Facebook account, ikinuwento niya kung gaano ka-professional si Gary na kahit masama ang pakiramdam ay itinuloy pa rin ang concert.
“Run thru pa lang, hindi na mabuti ang pakiramdam niya that’s why he chose to stay at the audience area pero nung nandoon na kaming mga guests to rehearse our numbers, umakyat siya talaga ng stage to sing with us.
“When we heard na made-delay yung show because kailangan na siyang mag IV because he’s dehydrated na, sobrang nag worry na ako. We were informed mababago na yung line-up, fully expecting na mawawala na yung nga dance songs. But no, because he’s just amazing, ginawa pa rin niya lahat nang nakaya niya to give his audience a fantastic show,” pagbabahagi ni Ice.
Aniya pa, kung noon ay mataas na ang paghanga niya kay Gary, mas lalo pa raw ngayon.
“You are an inspiration, Tito Gary. Your dedication to your artistry is undeniable. You epitomized the motto of all performers, “The show must go on,” and you took it a notch higher. Kung mataas na yung paghanga ko sa iyo noon, mas matindi ngayon,” ani Ice.
“I’m happy you’re feeling better. We love you so much, and we’ll always root for you. Get well soon, Mr. Pure Energy,” pagtatapos ni Ice.
Sa concert last night, nagawa pang mag-perform ni Gary ng eight songs bago nagsalita sa stage at sinabing hindi na niya makakayang tapusin ang show.
“Ladies and gentlemen, hindi ito kasali sa script namin. Alam ko kasi ako yung nagsulat ng script. But I don’t know if I can finish this show tonight. But what I want to do is I want to do the songs that I know can speak into your heart.
“It breaks my heart to know that we have prepared so much for all of you, but the body is saying ‘Gary, be cautious. You have many more years to go,’” pahayag ni Gary bago tinapos ang show.
