Hundreds of dogs, cats get free anti-rabies vax
IMUS CITY, Cavite – Local government here under Mayor and Buklod Filipino Party-list 1st nominee Emmanuel Maliksi has been successful in conducting free anti-rabies vaccines to pet dogs and cats of the residents here in the three-day program in celebration of “Rabies Awareness Month” this March 2022 with this year’s theme: “Rabies Free na Pusa’t Aso, Kaligtasan ng Pamilyang Pilipino, Magpabakuna na!”.
City Veterinary Services Office has been successful in delivering free pet services such as spaying and neutering, deworming, microchipping, and giving anti-rabies vaccines to pets.
In late March, vaccination was held in Bgys. Medicion 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F; Carsadang Bago 1 and 2; Pag-asa 3, and Alapan 1B.
The pre-registration spaying and neutering were conducted in selected villages.
