HUAWEI TEAM PAYS COURTESY CALL ON SEC. FRASCO
Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco on Wednesday (March 16) received a team from Huawei Philippines for a courtesy call at the the Department of Tourism (DOT) Office in Makati City.
Among the significant points tackled during the team’s visit is Huawei’s proposal to include the Tourist Lifecycle App in their app gallery and create campaigns both in the Philippines and China to promote the country and entice more Chinese tourists to visit.
With this, Secretary Frasco appreciated the desire for the partnership and recalled the President’s efforts in signing the tourism implementation deal when they visited China last January with the intent to boost tourist traffic from China to the Philippines. Moreover, the Tourism Chief recognized the importance of digitalization and connectivity in promoting tourist destinations.
