INATASAN ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang lahat ng government agencies, instrumentalities, at local government units na suportahan ang pagiging host ng Pilipinas sa 22nd Asian Karate Youth Championship.

Batay sa dalawang pahinang Memorandum Circular No. 55, na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, gagawin ang Asian Karate Youth Championship mula Agosto 22 hanggang 25 sa Philsports Multi-purpose Arena sa Pasig City.

Nabatid na ang Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) at Karate Pilipinas Sports Federation Inc. ang mangangasiwa sa 22nd Asian Karate Federation Cadets, Juniors at U21 Championships.

Nasa 38 bansa at 900 na atleta ang makikipagpaligsahan.

“The Asian Karate Federation Championships is a highly-anticipated tournament of Karate in Asia, which aims to bring together the best young Karate athletes from across the region,” saad ni Pangulong Marcos.

“The hosting of said event in the Philippines will not only promote the sport of Karate in the country, but will also serve as an opportunity for training of Filipino athletes,” dagdag ng Pangulo.

Inatasan din ni Pangulong Marcos ang Presidential Communications Office (PCO) na ipaalam at hikayatin ang publiko na suportahan ang paligsahan.
