PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has brought government’s job fair Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas to Negros.

Ten employers participated in the job fair at the Lamberto L. Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

Organizers offered 1,700 job vacancies in administrative and support service activities, construction, and wholesale and retail.

The President assured Negrenses that his administration will continue to help people in need by providing employment, state support, and livelihood through a whole-of-government effort.

“Asahan po ninyo na ang inyong pamahalaan ay laging nandito at nakikinig sa inyo,” President Marcos said during the Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas job fair at the Lamberto L. Macias Sports Complex in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

“Kaya’t huwag po kayong nahihiya. Kapag kayo’y may pangangailangan, sabihan ninyo po itong magigiting nating mga LGU, mga LGU executives, sabihin ninyo ang ating mga iba’t ibang department at iba’t ibang agency kung ano ‘yung pangangailangan ninyo,” he said.

Aside from assisting people in finding employment, Negrenses could avail themselves of affordable products such as PhP29 per kilo of rice, vegetables, and other necessities from Kadiwa outlets, the President said.

The Trabaho sa Bagong Pilipinas aims to empower Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries through employment opportunities, livelihood assistance, and access to critical support services.
