MANILA Vice Mayor Honey Lacuna and Congressman Yul Servo led yesterday’s inspection of the pilot implementation of limited face-to-face classes in two public schools in Manila.

Lacuna said the inspection was done on orders of Mayor Isko Moreno who told them to also check on the possible problems attendant to the implementation of the face-to-face classes at the Aurora Quezon Elementary School in Malate, Manila and the Ramon Avancena High School in Quiapo.

The vice mayor said they are thankful that classes went on smoothly and in a very orderly fashion, with no hitches reported whatsoever by Division of City Schools Superintendent Magdalena Lim, who accompanied her and Servo in doing the rounds.

Servo said he is happy to see the students enjoying their classes and actively participating in them.

Lim said that a total of 60 students from Kinder to Grade 5 level are participating at the Aurora Quezon Elementary School while 15 senior high students did at the Ramon Avancena High School.
