THE Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Immaculate Conception in Concepcion, Malabon holds a Lenten exhibition featuring statues of Christ’s Passion, saints, and a gallery of photographs of the city.
With the theme “Dakilang Pag-ibig: Mga Tagpo sa Pagpapakasakit ng Panginoon”, the exhibit showcases processional holy week images of Concepcion Church depicting the passion of Christ and saints.
One of the highlights of the exhibit is the statue of the Flagellation of Christ, owned by the Apiado family in Baritan, Malabon.
Some of the displayed images are part of the property of the parish, and the rest belong to private families from Malabon and Navotas.
Aside from statues, the exhibit also features a gallery of photographs of pre-pandemic Holy Week events like the traditional “Salubong”, Paschal Triduum events, altars of repose, and others.
The exhibit runs until March 25, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon; and from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday through Saturday; from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday. Amadeus Quitco
