Sa kanyang Tiktok account ay sinagot ni Heart Evangelista ang tanong ng isang netizen kung bakit si Chiz Escudero ang kanyang pinili na mas matanda sa kanya at hindi someone na mas bata sa kanya.

Tanong ni @_papited kay Heart, “Bakit po mas pinili niyo ‘yung mas ahead sa inyo kaysa sa mas bata? Sana po hindi nakaka offend hehe. Stay strong po, I love you two! Keep safe always po.”

Ang ganda ng sagot ni Heart.

“Why Chiz? It’s not because I chose specifically that he was older. First and foremost, crush ko na talaga si Chiz ever since, 2007 pa may iba pa akong boyfriend noon when I saw him at a La Union beauty pageant,” simula ni Heart.

Pagkatapos ay inalala niya ang moment na una niyang nakita si Chiz.

“Hindi ko siya nakalimutan and I was introduced to him. In the beginning, parang hindi niya ako bet. He was just being very nonchalant and pa-chill, ganyan.

“We spoke and spoke, we really got to know each other. And I thought that he was just going to be a friend,” saad niya.

“The first time I saw him he was just wearing tsinelas, shorts in a restaurant and ako, super ayos na ayos but that was like before we officially met.

“So, doon na I got to know him and he is more than what I imagined him to be. How you see him on our adulting videos, that is exactly how he was in real life. So, I really liked that,” kwento ni Heart.

Sey pa niya, “I met a lot of wonderful people, but I just met somebody greater than all of them and I felt that I think this time around I should fight for him,” sey pa ni Heart.

“Surprisingly, he did something that I wouldn’t imagine, especially it was election time and people were telling him, ‘breakup na, it’s not good for you,’ blah-blah-blah.

“Yeah, he fought for me. It was the first time anyone did that for me and he wanted me to be in his life no matter what. Kahit mahirap, okay lang.

“And grabe! Mawala na lahat, ‘wag lang ako?” kwento ni Heart sa pinagdaanan nila ng mister.

Sa ngayon ay six years nang kasal sina Heart at Sorsogon Governor Chiz at matatag na matatag pa rin ang kanilang pagmamahalan.
