Hero Bautista donates bicycles to frontliners
THE daily commute has changed ever since the advent of COVID-19. With people sticking to social distancing protocols, biking to and from work and home has become a popular mode of transportation.
However, not everyone can afford to buy a bike. To help alleviate this, Quezon City 4th District Councilor Hero Bautista has deployed the Hero Bicycle program which donates bikes to different frontliners.
The most recent donation was to the health service department of Camp Caringal, the headquarters of the Quezon City Police Department. A total of five mountain bikes were personally donated by Bautista along with Fatima Osmeña.
