HERMOSA, Bataan – Mayor Jopet Inton vowed to further buckle down to work for the benefit of his constituents, “inspired” perhaps by the overwhelming mandate given to him in the last May 9 election.

“Bilang pasasalamat sa kanilang muling pagtitiwala sakin ng mga kababayan ko ay susuklian naman natin na ibayong paglilingkod para sa kanilang ikabubuti,” Inton pointed out, who is also a licensed commercial pilot.

Working under the motto of “Performance, Accountability, Contribution, Trust and Selflessness,” Mayor Inton directed all the personnel at the Hermosa municipal hall to further improve their services to the public by giving them the service they “deserve”.

“Suklian natin sila (kababayan) ng magandang serbisyo dahil sa patuloy nilang pagtitiwala sa ating liderato,” stressed Mayor Inton.

A close political ally of Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia and Cong. Abet S Garcia, Mayor Inton has transformed Hermosa into an “economic hub” where various industrial and commercial establishments have sprouted like mushrooms during his stint, generating employment and income for the municipality.

Also, a businessman, Mayor Inton, said that many investors have signified their intention to pour in their investment here, saying this will create more jobs in the future.

Aside from being a strategic town located along the tri-boundaries of Bataan, Pampanga, and Subic Bay, Hermosa is also accessible to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) and can reach Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) in 12 minutes, Clark in 25 minutes, and Manila by only one hour and a half drive.

The potential investors are also impressed by the new concrete roads in and around the town of Hermosa.

Mayor Inton added that the construction of the Hermosa-Morong road has been started, shortening the travel time between these town towns and opening the “floodgates” of tourism along this soon-to-be-opened access road.
