Heart wows Parisian audience as local show nears end
HEART Evangelista is currently in Europe where she attended the Paris Fashion Week and became an official part of the French fashion house, Dior.
She posted in her social media account: “Thrilled to be part of the Dior family. Ecstatic to spend my time here in Paris with a brand that has always been close to my heart. Merci @Dior for making me a part of your ever-growing family.”
In her Instagram update, the fashion icon shows that she’s been attending one fashion show after another and making heads turn not only in the shows of Dior but also that of Chanel, Louis Vuitton and other name designers.
Meantime, Heart’s primetime teleserye, “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon”, is about to end in two weeks. It will have its final telecast on February 11 and it will be replaced by Sanya Lopez’s “First Yaya” on February 14. The romantic drama started airing in November and has a very successful run since it became the number one show on GMA Telebabad.
“I want to thank all the televiewers who supported us from Day One,” says Heart. “All their positive comments about the show, how good the story is and how beautiful Sorsogon is, they all warmed my heart. And I’m also glad that GMA is very pleased with the show and its high ratings. Abangan nyo po ang mga susunod na episodes dahil marami kaming naghihintay na pasabog.”
In the story, Heart plays Celeste, a native of Sorsogon who made it big as a fashion designer in Manila. She’s in a relationship with the rich Tonito (played by Richard Yap) in Manila, but when she returned home to Sorsogon, she meets again her first love, Mikoy (Paolo Contis), and something is rekindled between them.
The show’s followers are now divided as to who they would support: Paolo as Mikoy or Richard as Tonito?
“Nakakatuwa kasi may kanya-kanya silang team,” says Heart. “May Team Mikoy versus Team Tonito and the viewers are asking me who will get me daw in the end. Siempre naman po, hindi ko puedeng i-reveal. Basta huwag nyo po kaligtaang subaybayan ang nalalabing last few episodes kasi paganda nang paganda ang story and I assure you kikiligin kayo sa ending nito. Promise!“
