Halloween-themed jabs held in Cavite

IMUS CITY, Cavite – The local government unit on Friday conducted a Halloween-themed vaccination to give entertainment for the vaccines, vaccinators and all the frontliners at the inoculation site at Imus sports Complex in Bgy. Poblacion, this city.

Vaccinators, nurses, doctors, barangay health workers and other support staff members wore halloween costumes to give fun amid the pandemic.

“Tayo po ay magbibigay serbisyo at konting kasihayaan lamang po sa ating mga vaccinee. Ito ay bilang pasasalamat sa lahat ng frontliners na andito, sa lahat ng kasapi ng vaccination team,” Mayor Manny Maliksi said.

“’Di ba po bawal pumunta sa mga panchong sa panahong ito, bilang pagbibigay saya sa mga frontliner natin at tribute sa mga namayapang mahal natin sa buhay at para magbigay sigla sa ating frontliners kahit saglit na oras lamang,” Maliksi added.

“Salamat po sa pagpupunyagi para maitawid ang siliranin sa COVID-19 sa pamamagitan ng vaccination program, kayo po ang tunay na bayani sa pandemyang ito”, told the health frontliners.

As of October 25, a total of 391,026 doses of the COVID vaccines were injected to recipients. Of the number, 212,551 were used for the first dose and 178,475 for the second dose.
