ORIENTAL MINDORO – Reelected Governor Humerlito “Bonz” Dolor was formally sworn in for his second term as provincial chief executive of Oriental Mindoro.

He will remain governor for the next three years.

Governor Bonz was accompanied by his wife Hiyas Govinda Ramos-Dolor, daughter Haley and her parents, as well as other members of her family.

“Ordinary Mindoreños, this night is for you. On this journey, God will reward you with dense, shaking, and overflowing blessings…” said Gov. Dolor in his speech.

He thanked his entire family, the entire provincial government staff, the PDP-LBN, even in other political parties who wholeheartedly supported him, Team GSM, Bonz Till the End Family (BHW), various barangay presidents, and other organized organizations that contributed to his campaign.

The governor also thanked “every single Mindorenong who stood and stood by him, religious organizations, various Christian fraternities and Muslim brothers, vendors, LGBT communities, PWDs [Persons With Disabilities], women, teachers, senior citizens, indigenous people, members of various fraternities, other sectors of society,” and the various collaborators in his campaign, which he said “could not be singled out.”

In his message, he said, “take off the hat” which was written as partly political as a “call for unity” among all elected officials across the province.

“For the people of Mindoreño, let’s unite,” Dolor pointed out.
