GOLD Aceron started as a teen actor in “Lando and Bugoy”, a Cinemalaya entry where he played the son of an illiterate Allen Dizon. It won him his first acting award and this was followed by “Metamorphosis” for Cinema One Originals that gave him another acting award.

His full name is Jerould Gold Aceron. When he joined showbiz, he was told he better just use Gold as it has more name recall. Gold just did the soft-porn film, “Scorpio Nights 3” where he left nothing to the imagination in his love scenes with Christine Bermas.

Now, he makes love with another actor, Kych Minemoto, in Viva’s “May-December-January”, a unique love triangle movie written by Ricky Lee and directed by Mac Alejandre. How does he feel about it?

“Okay lang kasi I’ve previously done a Boys Love series, ‘Love at the End of the World’, na may gay love scenes din,” he says. “I am just playing a role and I do what my character is required to do.

It helps that Kych is dati ko nang katropa so we are really comfortable with each other. When we did our love scenes, sabi namin, ilalaban namin ito. Iba ‘yung nadama ko sa eksena with Kych.

Nangigigil ako at ‘yung puwet niya, pinisil-pisil ko pa. Happy kami. Love ko si Kych, si Ms. Andrea, si Direk Mac, lahat sila.”

Kych is also not new to gay lovemaking as he had love scenes with Alex Diaz in “Pathirsty”. And in “May-December-January”, he makes love not only with Gold but also with Andrea del Rosario, who plays Gold’s mom who’s much older than him.

Kych is a Fil-Japanese actor who just turned 22 years old. He was only 13 when he appeared in the movies of Chito Rono, “Badil” and “Feng Shui 2”. He then trained in theatre and in 2019, he got to do “Kalel” for Jun Lana and in 2020, he got to do “Block Z” with Star Cinema.

But his breakout role was in “Gameboys” where he played the role of Achilles and was paired with Kyle Velino. He was also featured in its spin off, “Pearl Next Door”.

“I enjoyed doing the love scenes both with Gold and Miss Andrea,” he says. “With Gold, gigil na kami sa eksena, come on, pagandahin natin ‘to! Our kissing, may love and passion talaga. Damang-dama namin ‘yung rhythm, ‘yung flow ng eksena. Nang mag-cut na si Direk, nagtinginan kami, yes! Ang ganda! Nag-enjoy kami, sobra!”

How about the love scene with Andrea? “Actually, chill lang kami lahat and Miss Andrea is napakasarap kasama. When we were on our way to our location for the shooting, lumabas siya sandali and when she came back, andami niyang biniling food. Nag-uusap muna kaming mabuti before doing our scenes and as Direk Mac says, we should just be guided by the intent of the scene and that helps make our work easier.”

“May-December-January” will be shown in cinemas nationwide on October 12.
