The summit will have industry experts, policymakers, entrepreneurs, social media influencers, and other stakeholders gathering for one day to discuss the future of Philippine tourism and its economic opportunities, particularly for MSMEs in the industry.

The event kicks off with special messages from Cebu City Governor Gwen Garcia, Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama, followed by a special message from Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco.

The summit will hold panel discussions with key government officials and industry leaders including ASEANTA president Eddy Soemawilaga, Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong, PCCI Director for Tourism Samie Lim, AirAsia CEO Ricky Isla, Cebu Pacific president Alexander Lao, Henann president Alfonso Chusuey, internationally renowned designer Kenneth Cobonpue, and Philippine Hotel Owners Association Executive Director Benito Bengzon.

One of the highlights of the Tourism Summit 2023 will be the “Inspiring Tourism Entrepreneurs Awards” with 15 enterprises operating in the tourism industry and 10 travel vloggers/influencers will be recognized for their outstanding contributions to promoting a lively Philippine tourism industry.

The summit will also feature a roundtable discussion on “The Power of Storytelling” from travel content creators such as Bogart the Explorer, Kyle “Kulas” Jennermann, Anton Diaz, and Carl Chuidian.
