Girl, 12, falls from condo bldg, found dead in pool
A 12-YEAR-OLD girl was found floating in a swimming pool after she was believed to have fallen from the condominium building her family was occupying Thursday night in Quezon City.
The victim was declared dead on arrival at the PNP General Hospital.
A cursory examination of the body showed the victim suffered fractured bones and abrasions.
A report from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) showed the tragedy was discovered at around 9:30 p.m. of June 30, 2021 at a condominium building in Barangay Socorro, Cubao.
Investigation showed a security from the residential building received a telephone call from a unit owner of the said Condominium informing him about a loud thud emanating from the pool area located at the 10th floor of the condominium.
Another security guard proceeded at the pool area and discovered the floating body.
The security guard immediately rescued the girl and together with her parents, rushed the victim to the hospital.
Police are still investigating the incident.
