A recent video that was taken inside of a room at the haunted Magnolia Hotel in Seguin, Texas, seems to show paranormal activity.

The video, which was captured by cameras last Saturday night at around 10pm, showed a ball rolling along the floor as well as small rem pods that were lit up (they only light up when they are touched). And if that wasn’t enough strange activity, a dress was ruffled and an unexplained shadow can be seen near the ball. The shadow appeared to enter the room from the top left hand side of the door and went under the table where it disappeared.

In an interview with KSAT, Erin Ghedi, who owns the hotel with her husband Jim, noted that several different spirits were in the room at the same time as one was moving the ball and setting off the rem pods, while another entered the room as a shadow figure, and a different one ruffled the dress located on the right side of the room.

“That is our children’s room where all of our little spirits enjoy playing because of all the toys,” she said, adding, “This was definitely sweet Emma because she is the one who enjoys rolling the ball.”

A little girl named Emma Voelcker was tragically murdered along with her friend Mrs. Helene Faust by an ax back in the year 1874. It was long believed that they were murdered by Mrs. Faust’s husband, Wilhelm Faust, who was convicted of the murderers but before he was sent to jail, he was killed by Emma’s father. According to research conducted by Mrs. Ghedi, it turned out that Mr. Faust didn’t kill his wife and Emma as another person confessed to the murders four years later on his death bed.

Ghedi noted that once they began remodeling the hotel, the ghost of Emma showed up. “Each time she would provide us with clues to help solve who the true murderer was. Now she has grown attached to the other children’s spirits, the hotel and our, and many other’s, love for her which is why she comes forward so often,” she explained.

As for the shadow figure that appeared on the video, Ghedi believes that it is the ghost of a woman named Mrs. Read who watches over the children in the afterlife. She went on to say that there are at least 20 spirits that reside at the hotel.

The Magnolia Hotel is certainly a hot spot for paranormal activity. In addition to Emma, Mrs. Faust, and Mrs. Read, the spirit of Mr. Faust is also said to haunt the location. Additionally, the original owner, James Campbell, is said to roam around and several people have even heard his rocking chair moving back and forth as well as smelling his cigar.

A psychic named Idella Lampkins performed readings at the hotel and is apparently still active at the location in the afterlife by touching people’s hair, hugging them, and sitting on their bed. Other ghostly apparitions include two men who committed suicide at the hotel, a “weeping woman”, and several ghostly figures that appear in the mirrors. Doors have slammed on their own and people have heard unexplained footsteps as well as disembodied voices. Furniture has even moved around on its own. This is definitely one active location.
