General’s daughters at Sports On Air

TWO of the more successful women in sports — Karen Tanchanco-Caballero of Pilipinas Sepaktakraw Federation and Pearl Managuelod of Muaythai Association of the Philippines — will be the special guests in the 14th “Sports On Air” vodcast on Friday, March 25.

Tanchanco-Caballero and Managuelod, who are also known in the local sports community as the “General’s Daughters”, will talk about their preparations for the coming 31st Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, as well as the success of female athletes in recent years.

The episode will also cap SOA’s “Women’s Month” celebrations aimed at recognizing the contributions of female athetes and officials in sports development.

The forum will start at 10:30 a.m.

This will be the 14th episode of “Sports on Air Weekly”, the hottest sports program managed by veteran sports journalists Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight, Ernest Leo Hernandez of SOA, Gerard Arce of Bulgar, Ivan Saldajeno of Philippine News Agency and Gab Ferreras of Sports Corner. PH.
