Gas, diesel prices rise for 9th time
FOR the ninth time in nine weeks, major and independent oil companies announced on Monday another oil price increase of their petroleum products.
Chevron Philippines will be the first to increase, by P1.20 per liter on kerosene and gasoline by P0.50 centavos per liter effective at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday.
Petron Corp. and Pilipinas Shell, along with Flying V and Seaoil Philippines, implemented the same set of hikes on their products at 6 a.m., also on Tuesday.
PTT Philippines, Petro Gazz, Unioil Philippines, Phoenix Petroleum, Total Philippines, and Jetti Oil also announced same price adjustments on diesel and gasoline products which would take effect at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Clean Fuel will implement the same price increase at 4:01 p.m. Most independent oil companies do not sell kerosene products.
