From farms of Ilocos Norte to San Juan City
SAN Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora and Ilocos Norte Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc signed an agreement to help farmers in Ilocos as well as San Juaneños with cheaper and fresher produce at reasonable price.
In a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Producers 2 Consumers (P2C) Program, the project aims to support accredited MSME entrepreneurs and farmers in the province by giving them a bigger platform to sell their products to different areas in the country.
“We thank the Province of Ilocos Norte for choosing San Juan City to be its partner in the P2C Program. With inflation being felt all over the country, the affordable and fresh produce offered by this program is a big help to our constituents here in the city,” Mayor Zamora said.
Fresh produce from Ilocos Norte will be brought twice a month to San Juan City Hall.
