Free ‘tuli’ in Noveleta this April
NOVELETA, Cavite – To address the request of parents and boys this summer season, the Rural Health Office here under Dr. Ma. Hilda Bucu, through the proposition of Mayor Dino Chua, the local government unit (LGU) conducted a “Free Circumcision” or “Tuli” for young local boys here during the school break.
Based on the official post of Mayor Chua on his social media account, he declared every Tuesday of April 2022 as “Free Tuli Day” in Noveleta from April 5, 12, 19, and 26.
Interested parents and young men can register at Noveleta Lying-in Center on municipal hall grounds or contact the RHU Office at 0968-852-4920.
“Dahil almost 2 years po tayong walang ‘Oplan Manhood’ dito sa ating bayan dahil sa higpit ng quarantine guidelines dulot ng Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, ngayon po na medyo nagluwag po ang quarantine, kaya ibinabalik na natin ang programang ito, na bitbit padin po ang pagsunod sa safety protocol na ipinatutupad ng pamahalaan,” Mayor Chua said.
Dr. Bucu said the maiden circumcision session was done in Noveleta Vaccination Hub on the 2nd floor of Primark Town Center in Bgy. Magdiwang for 40 male kids pre-registered for the free “tuli” with free antibiotics such as Amoxicillin and Mefenamic Acid for pain reliever for every young male patient.
