Free haircuts to public school students in Caloocan
THE city government of Caloocan once again launched its annual Balik Eskwela: Libreng Gupit program held at various city schools in North and South Caloocan to help the students welcome the new school year.
The free haircut program will continue to be held until August 22, and is available for students, teachers, and even parents.
City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan noted that the free haircut is just one of the ways to encourage the youth to shift their focus to their academic life and away from other distractions.
Aside from the ongoing free haircut program, the city government has previously provided complete sets of school supplies and bags to thousands of elementary school students.
