Free ECG for Manila city hall workers

MANILA Mayor Maria Sheila “Honey” Lacuna-Pangan encouraged employees of the local government to undergo electrocardiogram (ECG) offered by the Manila Health Department (MHD) at the City Government Employees Clinic (CEGEC) in time for the celebration of Healthy Heart Month.

This was announced by Mayor Lacuna-Pangan during the regular flag raising ceremony yesterday morning at the Kartilya ng Katipunan being attended by employees and officials of the local government before the start of the working week in providing services to Manileños.

“Yun pong mga City Hall base employees ay maaaring tumungo sa CGEC, sa ating clinic diyan po sa ground floor upang magpa-ECG. Ito po ay bukas sa lahat ng ating mga empleyado, 40 anyos pataas, lalung lalu na po, hinihikayat naming magpa-ECG yung may mga comorbidity para malaman ninyo kung tama pa ang pagtibok ng inyong mga puso,” the mayor said in her speech.

The start of providing ECG to all qualified employees of the local government will start from February 14 to 17 at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Earlier, the lady city chief executive. paid tribute to the employees of the local government who offered their deep affection, not only to their loved ones during the celebration of Valentine’s Day, but also showed their pure and proper true love for their work.
