Frasco graces honorary dinner celebration of PIA’s 90th year
DEPARTMENT of Tourism (DOT) Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco graced the honorary dinner celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Philippine Institute of Architects, Inc. (PIA), on Saturday, (Mar. 18) at the Manila Marriott Hotel Grand Ballroom at the Newport City in Pasay.
Leading the event of the oldest architectural society in Asia, are Philippine Institute of Architects Foundation Inc. (PIAFI) Founding President Ar. Rogelio Villarosa; PIA Makati Section President Ar. Joel Rico; PIA Cebu Section President Ar. Bryan Auman; Anniversary Co-Chairman Ar. Carmelo Casas; Incoming Chancellor Ar. Cynthia Naval, and other members of the PIA.
The PIA once served as the Philippine Section and founding member of the Union Internationale des Architectes, the international organization for architects, from 1950 until 1991, when its membership was then passed on to the United Architects of the Philippines.
