SAMPUNG Mga Kerida’, a movie written and directed by the international acclaimed Jun Lana, has been officially announced by Amazon Prime Video as the first Filipino Original Movie that they are going to show. This is a co-production between the IdeaFirst Company of Jun and Perci Intalan and Quantum Films of Atty. Joji Villanueva Alonso.

The English title is “Ten Little Mistresses” and it is a murder-mystery-comedy film topbilled by Venice International Filmfest best actor John Arcilla in the lead role of a man with no less than ten various mistresses of varied sizes, ages and shapes.

The movie will be exhibited in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide starting February 15, 2023, the day said to be meant for mistresses, since February 14 or Valentine’s Day is the one meant for the legal wives.

Filmed on a lock in location in Subic, it also stars Eugene Domingo and Christian Bables in very important roles. Playing the ten mistresses are Pokwang, Arci Munoz, Carmi Martin, Agot Isidro, Kris Bernal, Sharlene San Pedro, Adrianna So, Kate Alejandrino, Iana Bernardez and Donna Cariaga.

John Arcilla plays Valentin Esposo, a billionaire whose legal wife has just died. As a result, his ten other women are now vying for the vacated position and they’re all determined to fight tooth and nail to become his new legal wife. So who will be the lucky mistress who will be turned to a legal wife?

But before Valentin can make his final decision, he suddenly ends up dead and all his ten mistresses become prime suspects, making the movie a thrilling whodunit. And so, the movie now becomes a race to prove their innocence and uncover the identity of the real killer.

“Sampung mga Kerida” is a potent combination of laughs and thrills from the same writer-director, Jun Lana, who did the riotous box office comedy hits “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes”, “Die Beautiful”, “The Panti Sisters” and the internationally acclaimed “Bwakaw”.
