First Lady envisions PH as blockbuster movie tourism mecca
FIRST Lady Liza Marcos wants the Philippines to be a topnotch film tourism destination.
Marcos made the statement after meeting with Tourism Secretary Cristina Frasco and representatives of other government agencies.
“Proud to work with our dedicated government agencies to find ways to support our movie industry and help promote our country as a premier film tourism destination!” Marcos said.
“With our breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage, the Philippines can truly be a filmmaker’s dream.
On Tuesday, Marcos watched “Green Bones,” the official entry of GMA 7 to the Metro Manila Film Festival.
“Let’s work together to make our country the next big thing in the global film stage!” Marcos said.
