A documentary streaming service is paying volunteers to sit watching paranormal documentaries for 24 hours.

There have been some pretty iconic paranormal TV shows over the years, from Robert Stack’s classic ‘Unsolved Mysteries’ to the more recent ‘Ghost Hunters’ and everything in-between.

But no matter how much of a fan you might be of such shows, there are few who would be happy to sit around for 24 hours straight watching nothing but paranormal TV episodes back-to-back.

Now though, MagellanTV – a popular documentary streaming service with a catalogue exceeding 1,500 documentaries and shows – is offering volunteers the opportunity to earn some extra cash by doing exactly that.

Participants will be paid $100 per hour (making a total of $2,400 over the 24 hours), to watch a selection of paranormal shows and then to talk about them on social media afterwards.

The shows available to watch include ‘My Mum Talks to Aliens’, ‘Confessions of an Alien Abductee’, ‘Boogeymen: Monsters Among Us’ and ‘Weird or What with William Shatner’.

“Whether you want to prove that you’re not a scaredy-cat or that you’re the biggest paranormal fan out there, now’s your chance to do it… and get paid!” the website reads.

“Our ideal candidate is gutsy and willing to face the haunting spookiness of the paranormal – so much so that they’re willing to stream it for 24 hours straight!”
