A 32-YEAR-OLD woman on Saturday night was stabbed dead by her drinking pal in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
Victim Ana, of Bgy. Tigbe, Norzagaray, suffered multiple stab wounds and was declared dead on arrival at the San Jose Del Monte City Hospital.
Responding lawmen arrested the suspect identified only as alias “Mary,” also a resident of the village.
Prior to the killing, the victim and the suspect, along with friends, had drinks and videoke sing-along in the house of a common friend.
The suspect went home but returned after learning she forgot the microphone she lent to Ana.
Mary got angry upon learning that her mic was broken.
The victim and the suspect quarreled until they were pacified by their friends.
Ana was walking on her way home when she decided to stop at a sari-sari store near the house of the suspect.
Mary saw Ana and suddenly grabbed her by the hand towards her compound and stabbed the victim repeatedly.
