Father, sons busted for drugs, guns in Cavite
TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite – A man, his three sons and a neighbor were apprehended by the PNP Drug Enforcement Group on Block 31, Lot 21 Canon St., Beverly Homes, Phase 1, Brgy. Hugo Perez here, Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Elements of the SOU 4A, PNP DEG (lead unit) and Trece Martires CPS identified the arrested suspects as Mobarak Batao, male, single, 58, unemployed;Kadir Batao, male, single, 26, DOB,unemployed; Hakim Batao, male, single, 24, unemployed, all residents of Blk 31, Lot 21, Beverly Homes; Mobarak Batao, male, single, 22, working student and Cosain Bangon, male, single, 66, unemployed, all residents of Blk 31, Lot 21, Beverly homes, Phase 1, this city.
Seized from the suspects were an estimated 300 grams of suspected shabu worth some P2, 040, 000; P1,000 bill, beige Armscor cal. .45 standard, black coated Armscor cal. .45 standar, black Cal. .45 Safari, metal ammunition box containing ten brown boxes containing 30 caliber 5.56MM live ammunitions each, four steel magazines containg 30 live ammunitions each, nine empty short steel magazines, yellow plastic ammunition box containing 75 live ammunitions; silencer, identification cards and COVID-19 vaccination card; two digital weighing scales; five cellphones; a d a red Hyundai.
The arrested suspect are facing charges for violation of R.A. 9165, RA 10591 and the Omnibus Election Code.
