FARMING is one of the most underappreciated sectors in the Philippines. Despite being responsible for bringing food to the tables of many, farmers have to cope with dwindling yield and outdated farming practices which has led to inefficient harvests.
The inauguration of the new Farmer’s Livelihood Development Center led by Ilocos Sur Governor Ryan Singson and other provincial and local public servants marks the start of a partnership between local government units and livelihood farmers in helping them keep abreast of the latest farming practices and technologies.
