Family of 4 ‘slaughtered’ in Laguna
A FAMILY of four including a father and two children were found dead yesterday afternoon inside their house on Bonifacio St. (Interior) Bgy. Canlalay, Biñan City, Laguna.
Biñan City,Laguna police chief PLt.Col. Giovanni Martinez identified the fatalities as Johny Martinez, 46, his live partner Jolly Espinas, 41, their sons Winston Martinez, 7, and Brixton , 1.
The bodies were discovered at 1:00 pm by their neighbor Melissa Losa.
Initial investigation conducted by Biñan police showed that the two kids sustained head injuries that caused their death.
Cloth face masks were discovered in the mouths of bot children.
A bloodied hammer was also seen at the crime scene.
The father was found hanging at the stairway with a nylon strap around his neck while his hands were covered with blood.
Witnesses said they heard the baby crying at about 11 p.m. Tuesday.
Police probers are still investigatingthe possible angle that the father had killed his live-in partner and their children thrn hanged himself.
