HIS death will not be in vain.

This was made clear by Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar as he ordered a thorough investigation into the killing of an anti-narcotics policeman from the Bacolod City Police Station over the weekend.

The PNP chief said he wants all angles checked to determine the real motive behind the murder of Police Staff Sergeant Joseph Nepomoceno.

Eleazar said.

He also expressed his deep sympathies to the bereaved family of the cop and ensured that all necessary assistance would be provided for them.

The PNP chief vowed that justice would be served for the police officer.

The top cop at the same time urged witnesses and persons who may have information to come forward and help authorities bring the perpetrators to justice.

SSgt. Nepomuceno was driving his motorcycle when he was gunned down last Sunday by a another motorcycle-riding gunman. He suffered multiple gunshots in the body and died on the spot.
