Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — PNP chief Gen. Guillermo Eleazar and Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda on Sunday led the ribbon-cutting and blessing of the third quarantine facility of the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).

The inauguration, which coincided with the visit of Eleazar at the PRO3 in Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

PRO3 director Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon welcomed Gen. Eleazar who inspected the eight-room quarantine facility that could accommodate PRO3 personnel who have contracted the virus while in the performance of their duties.

The facility, the latest project of PRO3, was constructed through the help of the local government of Pampanga headed by Gov. Pineda.

The expansion of the PRO3 quarantine facilities is a continuing effort of the organization to help the government’s program to contain, reduce, and prevent the transmission of COVID-19 among PNP personnel in Central Luzon.

“We always say prevention is better than cure, this is why we have to maximize our efforts in finding ways and means to fight this invisible foe as we cannot afford to lose to Covid-19. These facilities will make our personnel feel that the PRO3 Command cares and supports its personnel especially during times of difficulties and crisis. As we care for others, we value ours,” De Leon said.
