AN elderly and their companion died while two others were hurt when a wayward Isuzu Elf truck rammed a Toyota Innova van parked in front of a local plantito shop while the victims were buying plants at the said store Thursday afternoon in Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.

Killed on the spot were spouses Reynaldo, 76, and Teresita Erive, senior citizen, both of Cabanatuan City, and their companion Ricky Amistad, caretaker of Erive Farms.

Ocumen said Solomon was brought to a Cabanatuan city hospital while Reynaldo was declared dead on arrival at the PJGMRMC in Talavera.

The wounded truck driver was taken to the police station for proper disposition, said Ocumen.
