Edsa, C-5 Road repairs set over the weekend
THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has started to conduct a weekend road repair and reblocking Friday before midnight along EDSA and C-5 Road.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the DPWH will undertake road reblocking and repairs starting at 11 p.m. Friday along EDSA near corner Kaingin Road in Quezon City.
In C-5 Road, the road repairs will be undertaken after Rajah Matanda (3rd lane from sidewalk) after Highland Drive (2nd lane from sidewalk) and after Shuster St. (2nd lane from sidewalk).
MMDA Public Information Office head Sharon Gentalian said all affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on June 7.
The agency advises motorists to avoid the said areas and to use alternate routes instead.
