MONSTROUS traffic jams worry motorists and commuters not only in Metropolitan Manila (MM) but also in surrounding towns and cities.

And to think that commuters are mostly students and workers in the government and private sectors.

That’s why the government launched the highly successful EDSA busway project on July 1. 2020 to address the problem.

The 28-kilometer busway runs from Monumento in Caloocan City to the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX).

And aware of its benefits, AltMobility PH has asked the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to open more exclusive bus lanes in the heavily-populated National Capital Region (NCR).

AltMobility PH said DOTr ought to replicate the EDSA busway in other thoroughfares to make travel faster and easier for more commuters.

While looking for other solutions to traffic congestion, it’s certainly a good idea to open more exclusive bus lanes.

AltMobility PH said, “We share a common goal: efficient, reliable and exclusive solutions.

These solutions focus on moving more people using fewer vehicles.

Dapat lang.
